Ed Racks is an upcoming Artist from Pontiac, Michigan right outside of Detroit, Michigan. He has been seriously recording since 2009 & his debut mixtape dropped in Jan 2011.He is Unsigned & independently climbing up in the underground Rap world. He is also apart of the upcoming rap group #CashB4Everything.
His work has been featured on various World Star Hip Hop videos, a URL Stamped Battle league video & Various sites around the internet..
He was selected to participate in a National unsigned Artist tour in early 2013, & his talents were Acknowledged by super producer ( KEONTHETRACK ) ; his group CashB4Everything was mentioned in a article in ThisIs50.Com

What inspired you to become an artist?
Poetry is my whole life

As a artist do you think the music has changed from then to now?
. Yeah, the music has changed and dumb down
How would you categorize your style?
I can switch it up, keep it 100. I paint a picture of what people are going through.
What if any message do you try to relay to the audience?
Do whatever you put your mind to. I push for the underdog.
What would you change about the music industry from an executive stand point?
Force people to do quality music.
What do you think attributed to the change from consciousness of the early 80's to the gangster era of today?
They want to prove themselves
What are your thoughts about the way the artists are presenting themselves?
The whole industry has changed and close to a
downfall. They are not representing for themselves. They are hurting the
community.
What would you consider to be your big break that get your foot in the door mainstream?
So many people are doing music nowadays. Be real dedicated, consistent and network.
