Our first character to sit in the chair is MONA BOOTS. She is the stalker and abductor of Brhin-Kristoffer Teddi.

For months, Mona Boots watched the three year old every Saturday from her table across the McDonald’s Play yard. She wanted him and in her delusion to finally do something right in her life she enters The Perfect Solution Childcare Center and leaves with Brhin-Kristoffer Teddi.

Lets join the interview in progress:

AUTHOR: Hello, Ms. Boots. Uhm, I see we don't have a photo of you. You were supposed to supply us with one.

Mona Boots: I don't want the whole world to know what I look like. What good would it do?

AUTHOR: Okay, Let's just forget about that. Its too late anyway. I think something has been put up. Okay, I read the blurb for the Perfect Solution and want to know how you became involved in this story?

Mona Boots: No, you wrote the blurb. Before I answer that question I want to make it clear I am not delusional. I read what was written about me too and I totally disagree with the description. You could have written something nicer about me.
AUTHOR: Ms. Boots I want you to remember we agreed to this as interviewer to interviewee. Stick to the script.
    Mona Boots: Fine.

AUTHOR: Brhin wasn’t your kid and I have to write it as I see it. People will never call a person who has taken a child ‘sane’. What went through your mind to make you take someone else’s child?
Pulling a crumpled, well-studied photograph from her pocket, Mona smiled at the little boy in the print before answering.

Mona Boots: I saw that little boy being neglected by his mother every weekend. She sat at one table and left him alone. He was such a little guy. I decided I wanted him and knew I would do a better job than the little redhead, they call his mother. I watched them all of the time and when opportunity hit, BAM! I took it.

AUTHOR: Speaking of mothers, what does your mom think of you? What was your childhood like?

Mona Boots: I don’t want to talk about that woman. She ran off and left me with a man who wasn't my father. As for my childhood....pssst, it was no different than more than half of Americas. It was a typical dysfunctional mess. A little bit of physical and mental abuse. Nothing I couldn’t handle.

AUTHOR: I read about a couple of traumatic experiences in your past. Something about
a baby you were in charge of and
the way your father died. Do you want to explain that?

Mona Boots:  My dad deserved everything that happened to him. If you read what you wrote in the book you would know that. What happened to that baby was because I was young and didn’t know anything about taking care of babies. I know better now.

AUTHOR: Right, let's get back to
Brhin, did the child go with you willingly? How did you get him?

Mona Boots: I just went to his class and they gave him to me. He was a little bit nervous, nothing
I didn't expect, but he was happy to be with me.

AUTHOR: Really? What did you do while he was with you?

Mona Boots: We enjoyed the room I set up for him in my home and all of the toys I bought him.

AUTHOR: If he liked being with you so much why did he lock himself in the bathroom of the McDonalds?

Mona Boots: You know what I’m not answering anymore questions. I was humiliated in that restaurant. I was made to feel like a criminal. I’m not even gonna mention what happened later.
Standing, Mona collects the little picture from the chair's cushion, and stuffs it into her back pocket as she walks out of the room mumbling.
