Thomas Reynolds, affectionately known by his friends as Tommy, was raised in Atlanta, GA and educated at Morehouse College, where he graduated with honors before attending Columbia Law School in New York.
After law school, Mr. Reynolds practiced as an associate at some of the world’s most prestigious international law firms including Dechert, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, and King & Spalding. As a large firm associate, Mr. Reynolds gained over $3 Billion worth of transaction experience in corporate law, finance, and real estate transactions. In addition to his background in business law, Mr. Reynolds also had the privilege of working with one of the most successful brands in entertainment, Universal Music Group, where he served as a founder and label executive of Global Icon Media/Divine Intermedia Group, a distribution partner of Universal Music Group. Under his Global Icon label, Mr. Reynolds inked deals with Brandon and Brian Casey (Jagged edge), F.L.Y. (Swag Surfing), and secured the rights to distribute music by Chicago’s DJ Pharris (a project which included features from Ludacris, Jeezy, Akon, T.I., Gucci, Rick Ross, among other artists).
Today, Mr. Reynolds is proud to have established his own firm, the Reynolds Law Group, LLC. In his capacity as managing partner, he oversees a staff of eight attorneys and has diligently fought for his clients in the areas of entertainment law, corporate law, employment law, personal injury and real estate. Under his direction, the law firm has secured notable trial verdicts on behalf of his clients including a $6 million judgment - one of the highest verdicts in the State of Georgia over the past few years (according to Daily Report/Verdict Search’s “Top Georgia Verdicts”). What city and state did you grow up?
Atlanta.
What was it like growing up in Atlanta?
It was kind of cold, a lot of artists and entertainers live here.
What High school and College did you attend?
Chamblee Magnet school very diverse, putting out top caliber students.
How long have you been an attorney?
Since 2004
What inspired you to become a attorney?
My childhood dream I was wanted to be an attorney. I would watch court TV and say "These people need help."
What kind of attorney are you?
Entertainment lawyer, I negotiate deals and artists contracts.
Who are some of your clients you represent?
Lloyd, Karlie Redd, and Gucci Man. He is a
businessman who does business in jail just like he was out of jail. He
very creative.
Besides representation, what other services do your firm offer?
Personal injury, real estate.
You have been representing artist in the
entertainment business for a while what was the funniest thing you saw
or heard?
A well known artist, did an event and a lot of
people were there. A accident occurred when he crashed into the artist
car. It took over a year for him to pay for the damages.
What keeps you motivated?
Use my influence as a music pace maker. To help artists with their careers.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I would like to be in a position that we have several artists to make a positive reaction.
If you could change your profession what would it be?
I love what I am doing right now. I can't think of nothing other.

Push yourself to put in that extra hour or two. The Bar, know your study habits.

It's a team sport you need to find someone that you can trust to be your manager.
