HOT SEAT"
Timberly ‘T.Diamond’ Simmons is an accomplished management professional, earning an undergraduate degree in Journalism from the University of Michigan, and a second Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Just recently, she has acquired her MBA with a concentration in Marketing.
Timberly is CEO and founder of T.Diamond Entertainment Management Group, LLC, an independent management label headquartered in the metropolitan Detroit area. Her firm’s focus is the management of Hip-Hop and R&B artists, models/actresses and independent recording labels. She has performed management functions for the Detroit Mo’Thugs collaborative incorporated and run by the historic mainstream iconic rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Timberly has worked closely with platinum artists Pretty Ricky, Lil’ Scrappy, Avant and Detroit’s own Wale’ and K’Jon on several collaborative projects. She has recently partnered up with Videoshop Productions, Inc., run by Hip-Hop legends Popa Duck (The “REAL” Papa Doc) and Boodang, who manage such label outlets as 21-C Elite Recordings and Duck This Entertainment; not to mention the HOTTEST video show in Detroit, “The Videoshop.”

As Business Manager and Publicist for The Videoshop, a local television show that highlight’s Detroit’s shining underground and mainstream talent, she manages functions relative to consumer satisfaction analysis, sales and service programs, accounting criteria protocol and new product offering development. She works closely with both co-owners to ensure delivery of above-bar live showcases and on-air events. In her role as Publicist, she often serves as the “official company representative” speaking on behalf of the organization, managing scenarios involving press and media, and carefully securing the “The Videoshop’s” brand and image to its external audience. When you see T.Diamond walk into your venue or event, just know that “The Videoshop” is officially in the building! Her list of company accomplishments includes landing the Robinson Furniture infomercial deal, developing a comprehensive business plan and sponsorship package, writing business contracts, and producing product description packets and media kits.
As a research/freelance journalist, she has conducted several interviews with high-profile music industry performers and written journalistic commentary pieces for several hip-hop music industry magazines, websites and blogs. She has two authorship projects to her credit; an autobiography entitled “Broken: The evolution of ME” and a semi-fictional piece entitled “Chronicles of a Self-Made Diva.” Both journalistic pieces are set for publication and release in late 2016.

Tell me a few things about yourself? Hardworking, driven, nerdy, I am a book worm, full of energy. Girl Power Tell me about your management company Tdiamond? Started in 2010, my love of music.
What services do you offer? Full service, I wear all the hats. From handling finances, press releases, schedules, promotion, booking etc.
Who have your company work with? Video shop, Kandi Kane Ent. and host of models and plenty of artists.
What inspired you to start your own business? Living, foundation, 2 strikes against me I am African American woman.
What motivates you? My children.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hosting my own show on a network with you. My management company completely up and running.

Are you interested in film/movies? Yes, television, mainstream videos, underground interviews commercials. I know we have several projects that we are collaborating on. Such as my talk show "The Hot Seat" you as my co-host which we will be shooting the pilot for that in February.
Are there any other projects that you are working on with Tdiamond entertainment/management? Still have my radio show, We are shooting The video shop movie, The Corner.
What are you goals for the near future? 100% of my energy in my management company, becoming a household name.
If there is any advice that you would like to give to young women who wants to start their own business? Never give up, Stay close to your vision.
Are you involved in any community programs? Yes I am a organization called Girl Stop, mentoring young ladies.
Are you married? Children? Divorced twice and I have 5 beautiful children.
Your favorite food? Tacos.
Your zodiac sign? Leo.
What are you hobbies? Instruments and writing. I am a party girl also. Traveling business and pleasure.
Are you a sports fan? Who is your favorite team? My kids play sports. I am a Lions fan but I would say the Patriots. U of M, Pistons, and my favorite player is Allen Iverson.
