Chise, tell us a little about yourself.

Hi, My Name is Ashaun Mason, but on stage from show to show, I'm known as CHISE (3269). I am a upcoming HipHop artist that just so happens to dip and dab in R&B.
I was born July 12, 1988in Detroit, Mi. While growing up on the Eastside of Detroit, Even at a young age I always found comfort in doing Music. When pertaining to my family, I come from a very heavy musical background. My first introduction to music came through being active in church.

While striving to do R&B it was through my brother at the age of 12, I develop a taste for HipHop. While converting over it was then, When me and my best friend (Terse) as well as other friends formed a Hip-hop group called the "D-Boyz". It would be years later due to the popularity of the name, We decided to change the name of the group to "3269" which to this day I am still a active member of. By the age of 18, I was attending college in Los Angeles, Ca. Where I majored in Media production at AIU(Buckhead). While grinding heavy I was able to network with many artists, producers, and other associates.
I lived in L.A for year and a half then moved to Atlanta where I continued my education at AIU.
While steady grinding doing music after two years in Atlanta, I returned home to Detroit. Right now I am currently promoting my first solo mixtape called "Something Special".. I have made and release 4 music video's off my mixtape. First video is "Pray For Me", Second video is "FEEL GOOD MUZIC" feat Terse dude (3269), Third video is "Forever" feat Rack Reg & Stef, and the fourth video is "The Women You Are". All my Music Video's can be found on "Youtube" with the search of: 3269 Chise. Recently,  I have been bless to be to be a contestant of 3 "ShowStoppers" Showcases which was sponsored by: WORLDWIDECORE RADIO.

In two of those showcases I placed "2nd" and in one showcase I placed "1st". By doing this, I am the only artist in History to be the holder of 3 "SHOWSTOPPERS" trophies. I was also a participant of the 1st annual "DETROIT UP NEXT" SHOWCASE, which was sponsored by "CSE MUSICGROUP". In this showcase I placed "2nd" as well. This year I have also been selected to grace the cover of " Urban DJ MAGAZINE" Freshman Class of 2016 ISSUE, that will be coming out late October 2016. As a upcoming artist from Detroit, I look forward to becoming a artist the people can love to grow with. My dream is to truly bring Something Special to the culture of Hip-hop and also to many generation to come.
