     Slugg da don  born and raised in Miami Florida. Artist and CEO of bmg (black mask gang) hip hop rap artist and song writer .15 years of experience in the music industry been in music videos with Plies and Sean Kingston.

    Formally of the group U.T.B (untouched records) won the Apollo in Miami show in 2007 and have release intensive music all over the world.

     And still currently releasing record in music along with management obligations of artist such as Young Nelt and Bmgstew





    Kandi.    What city and state did you grow up in?

    Slugg.   Miami,  FL
    Kandi.   What was it like growing up in Miami?
    Slugg.   It has its ups and downs.

    Kandi.   Tell me some things about yourself?

    Slugg.   I am a cool person, I go ff common sense.

    Kandi.  How long have you been a artist?

    Slugg.   15 years since I was 8 years old.

    Kandi.   What inspired you to become a artist?

    Slugg.    My Mother passed away,  music gave me inspiration.

    Kandi.  Who was the first person you have collaborated it?

    Slugg.   Young Dynamo

    Kandi.   Do you think the music has changed from then to now?

    Slugg.   Yeah, that's life things change

    Kandi.   How would you categorize your style?  

    Slugg.   I don't put myself in a category, I'm an around musician.

    Kandi.   What if any message do you try to relay to your audience?

    Slugg.   I relay loyalty my main message.

    Kandi.   What would you change about the music industry from an executive stand point?

    Slugg.    The way they are putting out the music so fast.


    Kandi.   What do you think attributed to the change from consciousness of the early 80's to the gangster era of today?

    Slugg.   I don't know,  I think it is still going

    Kandi.  What are your thoughts about the way the artists are representing themselves?

    Slugg.   That is a way to feminize the Black man

    Kandi.    Tell me what do you think about the way they are dressing the skirts and blouses?

    Slugg.   It's all gimmick.


    Kandi.   What would you consider to be the big break that will get the artists foot in the door mainstream?

    Slugg.    Keep grinding, don't take no for an answer.

    Kandi.   What are your goals for the future?

    Slugg.    Continue to put music out

    Kandi.   Do you have any shows/album/videos releases coming up?

    Kandi.   Are there any challenges that you have dealt with and you have  overcame?

    Slugg.  Everyday is a challenge

    Kandi.   Are you interested in making  movies?

    Slugg.   Yeah, Definitely

    Kandi.   Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

    Slugg.   Finances, staying humble

    Kandi.   What advice would you give to young men today who are suffering from injustices?

    Slugg.  It's tough out here

    Kandi.    What advice do you give to aspiring artists who are trying to get into the music industry?

    Slugg.   Keep going at it, keep your faith, don't give up.

    Kandi.   What keeps you motivated, what drives you?

    Slugg.   Life, I have a family

    Kandi.   If you could change your profession what would it be?

    Slugg.    Football player

    Kandi.   What are your thoughts about the legalization of Marijuana?

    Slugg.   I think it is good

    Kandi.   What are your thoughts about the Flint water crisis?

    Slugg.   They are not putting any media attention on it.

    Kandi.   If you could speak directly to the youth of today about the importance of obtaining a good education what would you say?

    Slugg.   It is very important.
    Kandi.   Married? children?
    Slugg.   Yes, yes.
    Kandi.   Favorite food?
    Slugg.   Steak.

    Kandi.   What are your hobbies?

    Slugg.   Writing music, finding talent.
    Kandi.  Zodiac?
