LaSuria Kandi Allman and Timberly Simmons interviews Radio personality Regina Sunshine Robinson.
Regina Robinson is the cofounder of EWATE (Empowered Women Accountable To Each Other), a Women’s Empowerment organization whose main purpose is to empower and encourage women to be all they were created to be in order to fulfill God’s perfect plan for their lives. Their slogan is “We’ll Help You Get Your SASSY Back.” Since starting this organization in 2008 with her sister, Pamelia Stanley, the sisters (AKA, The SASSY Team) have traveled across the country sharing their vision of love for oneself and our sisters.
Because of the tremendous examples set forth by their mother, Geraldine Gore, and grandmother, Elizabeth Alford, they set out on a mission to help change the lives of women all over the world.   Born Regina Elizabeth Alford on August 17, 1972, Ms. Robinson was raised in Tabor City, NC. She attended North Carolina A&T State University on an academic scholarship and in 1995 graduated with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering. Currently she is employed as a math instructor with Piedmont Technical College.   In October 2010, the sisters launched a new venture, a brand clothing line, Fiercely SASSY LLC. Starting with four t-shirt designs, this company carries the message and spirit of the original organization. Regina says that a Fiercely SASSY woman is strong, loving, confident, smart, bold and blessed. Her vision is to convert this company into a full scale women’s clothing line that will truly embody a “SASSY” woman.
Regina is currently writing a book along with various other projects that involve scholarships for young women, grants for female business owners and a mentorship program for those starting service organizations, to name a few. One of her newest dreams is a SASSY Academy that will serve as a retreat location for women that will have in house services that meet the need of ministering to women in every area of life.
After requests from many different men to be included in their organization, EWATE’s founders partnered with Gabe Robinson, Regina’s son, in founding Living Like A B.O.S.S. (Business/Occupation/Service/Significance) Men’s Organization. The B.O.S.S. Events quickly became a favorite of the team as well as the men involved. The unique combination of information, networking, live discussion, resources and EDUtainment created a space where men of all types openly engage and connect to do a greater work. The B.O.S.S. Movement is growing and continues to emphasize that Our Men Need Each Other & Our Community Needs Our Men.   Regina resides in Marietta, Georgia where she continues to pursue her dream to reach as many people as she can with the truth of God’s Love and His purpose for their lives. Regina has known for a while that she was called to inspire and encourage others. Her newest project is “The Regina Sunshine Show” on Instinct Radio, Mondays 12 noon – 2 pm with a special edition every first Monday of the month, Living Like A B.O.S.S. Men’s Show. This new platform gives her yet another opportunity to encourage and inspire. Her personal motto is “It’s Not Over Til I Win” and for her, she wins when she sees others “WINNING”.
