    John Blaze is an emerging force in the Hip hop scene. His aggressive rap style plus his singing and production talents make him a perfect candidate to put Detroit even further along in music then ever before. His music is slowly making its way into the fabric of Hip Hop. If you haven't heard his music you are surely missing out!

    What city and state did you grow up in?

     Detroit, Michigan
    What was it like growing up in Detroit?
     It was interesting and fun

    Tell me some things about yourself?

    Super laid back.
    How long have you been in the music industry?

      3-4 yrs professionally
    What inspired you to become a Artist?
    I really don't like other people music
     Who were the first artist you collaborated with?
    Dre Day, Big Wop
    Do you think the music has changed from then to now?
     Oh yeah it has
     How would you categorize your style?
     Aggressive, I talk about real stuff
    What if any message do you try to relay to the audience?Take a look around you, try to help people.
     What would you change about the music industry from an executive stand point?
    John.  Global, national, work with local artists
    What do you think attributed to the change from consciousness of the early 80's to the gangster era of today?
    The executives, they make the choices on what music goes out.
    What are your thoughts about the way the artists are representing themselves?
     200,000% against all of that
    Tell me what do you think about the way they are dressing the skirts and blouses?John.  I am going to make sure I don't do that.
      What would you consider to be the big break that will get the artists foot in the door mainstream?
      Promotion, Networking It is about who you know
      What are your goals for the future?
     Sitting behind a desk, helping my people.

    Just was did a show at Masonic Temple with Trina, Juvenile, Big Chubb
    Are there any artists that you would like to collaborate with?

    Keep fighting
    What advice do you give to aspiring artists who are trying to get into the music industry?
    You must have product
     What keeps you motivated, what drives you?
    You must learn to pull motivation from everywhere
    If you could change your profession what would it be?
    Community Activist
    What are your thoughts about the legalization of Marijuana?
     It has its pros and cons like everything else.
     If you could speak to the youth today about the importance of obtaining a good education what would you say?
