    Hello, thanks for returning? How are you enjoying the chats, so far? Today, LaSuria Kandi Allman interviews City & Pone of Deadline Film and Music.

    Pone is CEO of DEADLINE LLC and Co Owner of Lyric Entertainment. Been doing music for 25 years. Former label HillMoney Ent. from 2003 to 2013 CEO, Manager & Producer. Born In Los Angeles California Been in Las Vegas since 2000.

    What city and state did you grow up in?
    City.   Vegas and Compton.
    Pone.   California and Vegas.
    What was it like growing up in?
    City.   A lot of gang banging
    Pone:  Gang banging Cop harassment.
    Tell me some things about yourself? 
    City:    I am laid back
    What inspired you to become an artist?
    City:   I grew up listening to Tupac.
    Who was the first artist you collaborated with?
    City:   Bombay
    As a artist do you think the music has changed from then to now?
    City:  Most definitely
    How would you categorize your style?
    City:   More like laid back, I am not aggressive on the mic.
    What if any message do you try to relay to the audience?
    City:   Put a message out there people are not real. They lie in their raps. My song Bar checking yeah.
    What would you change about the music industry from an executive stand point?
    Pone:  We Got That Long!! People need to come more real with their music.
    What do you think attributed to the change from consciousness of the early 80's to the gangster era of today?
    City:   Setting trends and people became followers.
    Pone: Back in the day they had things to talk about. Everyone has the same rap style now.
    Tell us about your video your shooting Friday in Las Vegas?
    City:   OMG!!!! Once my man Capone showed me the blue print. I am really excited about it.
    What would you consider to be your big break that get your foot in the door to take your show mainstream?
    City:   Hard work
    What is the name of your current single?
    City.   Massacre, video shoot friday.
    How long have you been artist?
    City.    All my life
    What are your goals for the future?
    City.   Put a print and a dent in the business
    Do you have any shows/album/videos coming up? 
    City.  2016 Is our year look for good things from Deadline.
    What record company do you represent?
    City:   Deadline.

    Are there any artists that you would like to collaborate with?
    City: J Cole is so original to me

    Do you write your own music?
    City.   Yes
    Are you involved in any social or political groups?
    City.   No.
    Pone.  Zulu Nation.
    Are there any youth or community programs that you are involved in?
    Pone.   A project for the kids in Jan with Get Bucc, DJ Rosemary Zulu Nation. 
    Are there any challenges that you have dealt with and you have  overcame?
    City:  Most Definitely.
    Are you interested in making movies?
    City.  Yes.
    Pone.  Yes, look forward to doing one of your movies Kandi

    Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
    City.   I see myself succeeding
    Pone.  Taking the company to a higher level, and teach the kids.
    What advice would you give to young men today who are suffering from injustices?
    City.   Don't be quick to react, don't be a fool about it.
    Pone.   A lot of people need to  wake up in this world.
    Have you ever experienced stage fright?
    City.   No, Never.
    What advice do you give to aspiring artists who are trying to get into the music industry?
    City.   Hard work.
    Pone.  Dedication. 
    What do you think about the legalization of Marijuana?
    Pone.   They going to do it, I don't smoke, you can't stop it
